The lens restoration process involves the following steps:
 

  • Removal of the existing u.v. layer and any smoothing of and minor surface damage to the lens, including light scratches.  Deep gouges and pitting can only be smoothed, not removed.  This is done by very careful sanding (there is no chemical for this).
  • Cleaning and inspecting the surface for any remaining damage or artifacts.
  • Spray application of a new highly protective coating.  This is the new final finish.  The one the factory should have done.

This will be the result.  A perfectly clear lens, equal to or better than the original finish.  With the right products (like we use) this finish will last unchanged until the vehicle is recycled.  Guaranteed.
